Last year, all of my Battletech mechs were painted. Towards the end of the year, I picked up two lance boxes. One was the Inner Sphere Heavy Lance, the other the Inner Sphere Urban Lance. With BT models being so easy to paint, I thought I’d quickly get my BT back to 100% painted

First up is that Heavy Lance, but I tossed in a Rifleman (far left) to the group. This model is from the Target exclusive Battletech: Essentials starter box. I painted these mechs up in what I imagine to be mercenaries for my little corner of the BT universe.

The Urban Lance, I painted each in a color of the four Inner Sphere factions in my collection. The green one belongs to my new mercs and is included in the photo at the top. The other three, fit in with their respective factions. Comstar, House Steiner, and House Kurita.

The backdrop on all these photos is from the recently released Backdrop Books from Jon Hodgson.

With these eight models painted up my Battletech collection is back up to being 100% painted. My BT RUB is also full, so I don’t imagine purchasing any more mechs for a good long while. It’s pretty nice to have one hobby project totally done. It’d like to keep it that way for awhile.
