Blood Bowl: Chaos Cup Legacy Team

Every September, the biggest Blood Bowl tournament in North America, and probably the Western Hemisphere, takes place in Chicago, Illinois. This year is the 20th anniversary of the event and the tournament organizer has themed it around the old-school Slann team of second edition fame. So, with space frogs as the tournament theme, they’re also the Legacy Team for anyone opting to participate in the Legacy Team project.

DungeonBowl: Chests and Portals

I’ve already got plenty of Blood Bowl models on dungeon tile bases (for my Blitz Bowl collection), so the recent re-release of GW’s DungeonBowl was an easy “yes”. I already had all the team models that came in the DB set, as I had been collecting them for Blitz Bowl. The only plastic in the DB box left to paint were the treasure chests and portals.

Blood Bowl: Mourn Mountain Sabretusks

Blog output is dry lately. I’ve been working on hobby projects, but work has been pretty hectic, and when I punch out I’ve been wanting to get away from a computer. The local Blood Bowl league is starting up a new season this week, so I made sure I had a new team kitted up. The Mourn Mountain Sabretusks

Silver Bayonet: Bavarians

Initially, I wasn’t too interested in the Silver Bayonet, but I recently met some local gamers who were getting into it pretty heavily, so I figured why not do up a little unit and join in? Another wave of Covid has rippled through the house, so figured it was time to jump on that second Dragon Rampant warband. I expected this one to take two days as well, but it took a little under four hours so went ahead and put paint to an Elheim warlock figure as well.

Roswell ’98: The New Traditionalists

The last gang to cruise the wasted waves of Roswell are The Scientists. I went back and forth the most with this gang on what I could do to have them ride apart from the others. Originally, I was going to go with trucks and hitches to haul UFO artifacts. It ended up looking a little too much like a gang of bootleggers or something. When it dawned on me that a van was a vehicle I hadn’t used yet, the gang materialized.

Roswell ’98: Full Leather Jacket

My last Roswell post featured the cyber ninja Gaslands vehicles. Usually, I like to follow up a vehicle post with the post on the same gang’s foot models to use with Zona Alfa. My son and friends saw my car collection and want to try some Gaslands soon, so I’m going to shift gears and wrap up the vehicles for a few more gangs, then go back to the foot models. Here’s the fifth gang, The Independents.
