A year or two ago, I expanded Dwarf and Union Elf Blitz Bowl teams to full Blood Bowl teams. Though I have yet to ever play with the Dwarves, and have only fielded the Union Elves sparingly, I found myself with a few of their star players which sat unpainted for a good long while. As 2023 wraps up, I’ve done pretty good about completing projects here and there, so I figure I might as well wrap up the unpainted models I had for these two teams.

The White Dwarf, centered above, is a field general of sorts giving skills out as a one-turn bonus to teammates. I have a tendency to use silver as a trim color pretty often, and this dwarf team was my first attempt to omit any silver, or steel, colors from spikes or what not. A simple grey-based color scheme made this model quick work.

The Zoat and Eldril will probably see a little more action than the White Dwarf as I’ll probably reach for the Union Elf team over Dwarves on a given season or tournament. Eldril has been described as a Sea Elf in the BB fluff, so despite not seeing any Sea Elves in the Old World, I envisioned him as a sea green color. This goes with the color based skin I have on my other elves that make up this Elf Union team. High Elf players with white skin, Dark Elf players in blue, and Wood Elves in pale brown/green.

As mentioned, neither of these teams see much play from me, and I really don’t anticipate using any of these Star Players, so they were pretty much rush jobs to get them done and scratch off another project from the list before the year is out.
