It’s been a minute since I painted some models, but I only had four left in my Burrows & Badgers band, so was an easy lift. In my last B&B post, I presented the Necromancer and ghasts. The last four are the “not dead yet”, or living, members – A Great Brown Rat and three Black Rats.

Clearly, I’ve got my own spin on their actual fur color, but here’s the band that I would run not as Undead, but as Rogues. A full band of living rats (and bats). In this iteration of the group the spell caster is not a Necromancer but of the Natural Spell variety and the Great Rat is the leader.

At 350pennies for a starting band, that’s only going to be about 6-7 models. I’ve got 13 painted. The Undead flavor of this group has plenty of room to grow during a campaign. The Rogue side not so much. I might need to source a few rats or bats with bows to give the band some much needed range attacks.
I think I’ve got my first game of B&B Second Edition scheduled later this month. Looking forward to this group raising cain in Northymbra.
Very nice! Good luck in your new B&B campaign and I hope you’ll let us all know how you get on.

Nice work. I love this range of minis but so far have resisted!

Yeah, I resisted for years, but we have a fan of the game in the area who has built up a table for it, so I figure I’d reward that effort and bring a Band. I do love the fact that they’re single piece, metal models.

Single piece? That’s great. I might get me some Badgers!
