Cruising through my painting queue this year, I wrapped up models 149-154. So far, this is a banner year in painting. These six Nobility models sat primed in storage for a good long while until I could settle on a theme. I’m envisioning this set from the Border Princess region maybe and with a bit of a Spanish flair.

I three above are the Blitzer, Thrower, and Bodyguard. They each have winged flair coming off their chest. I was thinking I’d do their feathers different colors, by position, but tbh, the pure white is looks great and I feared the colors would make them too…busy?

Thinking of “Spain” for some reason, I was envisioning the green a little lighter, but I don’t think I have the shade I needed without mixing (not likely) or going with orc boss green or something which would be _too_ green. Well, at least the red pops pretty well.

Six models is all that’s used in Blitz Bowl, but tbh, I really like the way these models came out. Not sure I want to paint another six for a full Blood Bowl team of twelve, but I might paint 1-3 more models for Sevens of Gutter Bowl. I’m just trying to determine if one of those should be an Ogre. I’d have to find a way to posh one up some to match the team. Which could be fun…or a hassle.

For the moment though, I’m calling this team done and another 2023 goal struck down. Only one more Blitz Bowl team left for my collection to be done.
