Logic would suggest that a person should start with the basics of a game before they start adding extras into the mix. Being a less than speedy painter I can never keep up with the Games Workshop production line of new products. This typically results in me having making a hodgepodge collection as I move in and out of the collection stream. This time around instead of starting with the core released box set of the game I have instead gone with roaming beasts that are not even part of the core rules.

Warhammer Underworlds Terrain: 200 Skulls Too Many
As with Mr. White, I am never content to have a project be finished. Although I’m not 100% on the newer rules for terrain in Underworlds, for the core boards in Shadespire there are some blocking terrain pieces. While not required I feel that having just some border lines on the hexes is enough to truly represent the terrain. I’m not the only one thinking that because there are people out there making terrain purposely made for the boards. Continue reading
Shadespire: Eyes of the Nine
I have been a fan of the models produced for Shadespire since they where first released. While I will always prefer multi-pose models over single pose, credit must be given to Games Workshop with the quality of their plastic models. They are clearly years ahead of their competitors and I personally believe that their line of Shadespire and the follow on edition models are some of the best. Using my new airbrush toy, the Eyes of the Nine where the first to go for a full spin. Continue reading
Roswell ’98: This valley is just one long smorgasbord.

I’ve written previously about these models and their inspiration, so this is a bit of a push post. So despite how it seems I actually did ‘finish’ this project the month after my last update. ‘Finishing’ this project actually started the beginning of a very productive time that saw me shy away from posting in favor of feverishly working on hobby projects like a mad scientist. That lasted until the world ended in 2020 and now I’m a year behind schedule on getting updates published. Anyhow, enough of my rambling and on to the near end of this never ending project!
