Recently I was asked if I would consider writing a post showcasing my Blood Bowl collection. I have thought about it a few times, and I thought it would be fun to go through everything and catalog my collection. I figured that since I did not have any other posts planned at the moment, now would be as good a time as any to start documenting my collection. However, once I started pulling everything out, I realized that this was going to be a much larger undertaking than I first thought. I knew that I had a large collection, but sometimes you just do not grasp the full scope of how ridiculous your collection has gotten until you start to pull everything out. I may or may not get to all of this in a single blog post…

New Blood Bowl Items on Pre-Order This Weekend?
For more than a little while now, reports have swirled that Games Workshop was working on replenishing stock of the Skaven and Dwarf pitch, as well as both the Skaven and Dwarf themed Blood Bowl dice sets. There was even an image of Reikland Reaver, Gouged Eye, and Goblin team dice that circulated the interwebs with reports that a release was imminent. Unfortunately, that release did not materialize then, but if Spikey Bits latest post about Games Workshop’s pre-release list for this weekend is accurate, then those dice sets and the Skaven and Dwarf pitch might finally be coming. They claim that the list is confirmed, and my experience so far has been that they are generally correct.
Orcland Raiders Unboxing – WAAAAGH!
About a week ago, I got a box from Forge World with the Goblin Secret Weapons inside. I wrote about those minis a few days ago, and intended to write about what else was in the box a day or two later, but things just did not work out that way. Life happens, I suppose. Well, last night I finally managed to sit down with the second item, and I was able to assemble some Orcs! WAAAAGH!
Goblin Secret Weapons Unboxing
A few days ago, another box from Forge World showed up on my doorstep. I went through the box and took some pictures. I intended to write this post at that point, but then I unexpectedly had to drive to my home town to say goodbye to a very old friend. Now I am back at the lair, and I can finally write this post. So, without further delay… Goblin Secret Weapons!
June Forge World Unboxings: Part 4
OK, I know what you are thinking. How can this be June Unboxings Part 4? July is here, June is gone! Well, you are right, and June is gone, but I I still have one blister left to open from my June shipment. The Grombrindal and Black Gobbo blister! This double pack was released to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of White Dwarf magazine.
Blood Bowl: Pro Elf Team by Iron Golems
When last I posted, Iron Golems had been running a Kickstarter campaign for a fantastic Wood Elf team. The campaign has gained some momentum and this includes Lucas Pina sculpting up some alternate shoulder pads and minis to provide coaches a kick ass Pro Elf team.
Gore Ball Kickstarter – Campaign Update AKA Even MOAR OGRES!!! and GOBLINS!!!
Recently I wrote about a crowd funding campaign that I came across from Word Forge Games. The campaign is for an Ogre team for their upcoming game, Gore Ball. I was really impressed by their renders and sample minis, and I like the fact that their Ogres look really similar in style to the current Blood Bowl Human team Ogre from Games Workshop.
Zara the Slayer Conversion – Finished!
A few months ago I wrote a post about a really cool Zara the Slayer conversion I saw on the Facebook Blood Bowl Community group and how it inspired me to attempt the same conversion. I usually shy away from conversions as I am not particularly good at them, but this one looked pretty simple and the results turned out much nicer than I would have expected.
June Forge World Unboxings: Part 3
Alright, in my last post I asked which mini you wanted to see in an unboxing next. I got a few responses between this site, Facebook, and Reddit, and the results were unanimous. Everyone wanted Grim Ironjaw for the next unboxing. So… here we go!
The Highs and Lows of the Hobby
Last week Forge World put three new Blood Bowl items up for pre-order. These items included the Orcland Raiders Orc team (which was really just the boxed set Orcs with some resin pieces added to change their visual style slightly), the Goblin Secret Weapons pack (woohoo!), and the Gouged Eye neoprene pitch. I am a sucker for anything Blood Bowl related, so I made sure to get my order in early so as not be disappointed.
