Earlier this week Warhammer Community teased us with the new Goblin team and with more teams from the Made to Order service, Necromantic Horrors and Shambling Undead. What they didn’t tell us was that High Elves and the Lizardmen were coming too! The Lizardmen has been notoriously hard to find in recent years and the big guy kroxigor has gone for pretty silly prices on eBay. Now’s your chance to buy them new from Games Workshop!

I Finally Got My Hands On Grak And Crumbleberry!
After fairly regular begging on interwebs forums and the Facebook Blood Bowl group, I have FINALLY managed to get my hands on a Grak and Crumbleberry set. Grak and Crumbleberry were only available to purchase from Warhammer World in Nottingham and since I live in Texas, there was no way I was getting my hands on them without help. They arrived in the mail today and it is time for another unboxing!
Hobby Tips: Simple Green
Recently, I hit some minis with either a bad can of primer or the humidity was off because I ended up blowing wet dust on a batch of ’em for my Warhammer Quest Silver Tower game. Scouting around online I read a little about a cleaning product called Simple Green that supposedly has the properties to remove paint and primer from plastic without melting the plastic itself. This is exactly what I needed so I sought out this emerald elixir.
Warhammer Quest – Branchwych & Bittergrub Hero
I have really enjoyed the relaunch of Warhammer Quest in the Age of Sigmar setting…surprisingly more than I enjoyed the original game in the mid 90s. However, the game has a real dearth of female characters, so I was glad to hear this Sylvaneth character was included in the app. I prefer analog over digital, so looked to see if she was also included in the recent card pack. She isn’t….too recent. The plan was to get an image of a Branchwych and crop it into a card template. Until I saw the following image…
More Blood Bowl Dice Incoming

More Blood Bowl dice are on the way according to Faeit 212, their source states stores are able to preorder new sets of dice and a new pitch.
A Facebook user posted an image showing dice for goblins, Reikland Reavers and The Gouged Eye. Not sure why we need more dice for humans and goblins, but you know they’re going to sell like hot cakes. Do hot cakes really sell that well? I don’t know, ask IHOP, they seem to be doing OK.
Also, if they’re going to do another set of human dice, why not theme them for the Bright Crusaders?
War of Sigmar also reports Death Zone Season 2, the goblin team and goblin booster pack are this week’s preorders.

Goblin Secret Weapons Revealed
Well, the goblin secret weapons aren’t so secret anymore. Today Warhammer Community unveiled the upcoming Forge World goblin secret weapon players for Blood Bowl. There will be a bomber, chainsaw player and ball-and-chain looney. The chainsaw player was teased previously in the Rumor Engine, with many correctly guessing the hooked chain blade to be a bad-moon shaped chainsaw.
No sign of a pogo stick player yet.
The secret weapon minis will go on sale first at this month’s Warhammer Fest event, no word on pre-order or release date.
White Dwarf May 2017 Review
Happy Birthday, Dwarf!
Celebrating the 40th Anniversary is the focus of the May 2017 issue of our favorite hobby magazine. After an extended period away from the periodical, I renewed our relationship last September with the big board game issue reboot. I have been pleased with the issues so far, particularly since the covers now feature illustrations again…something I’ve long missed. My son (10) enjoys this issue quite a bit as a new Age of Sigmar player and relatively new to the Games Workshop hobby. The many retrospectives sort of bought him up to speed with an overview of how White Dwarf began through to its current incarnation today.
The Bright Crusaders Are Here
When Games Workshop announced the release of the Bright Crusaders team for Blood Bowl, there was quite a bit of grumbling across the interwebs. Some people were a little irritated that with only four official teams released for Blood Bowl, Games Workshop was now releasing a second Human team. While I can sympathize with the feeling, I decided to go ahead and order the Bright Crusaders team from Forge World. Well, a couple of days ago, a box from the UK arrived on my doorstep, so here we go with another Blood Bowl unboxing.
Blood Bowl Made to Order Has Arrived!
Last year Games Workshop announced their Made to Order program where they would, for a brief period of time, make older, out of print minis available for order. As soon as I heard about the program, I knew that Blood Bowl would be the perfect for the program as even with all of the third party Blood Bowl mini options, a number of the older Games Workshop teams are still in pretty high demand. These teams often sell for insanely high amounts of money on eBay. For myself, while I have almost all of the older Games Workshop minis that I actually want in my collection, there were still a couple of gaps. As a result, when Games Workshop recently announced that Blood Bowl was coming to the Made to Order program, and featured a Chaos Dwarf Bull Centaur no less, I got excited.
Mordheim Terrain Tutorial – 666: The Number of the Terrain!
Well, here we are… a full two and a half years since my last Mordheim Terrain Tutorial post. What can I say? Better late than never I suppose. Since my group had not played Mordheim (until a couple of weeks ago) in the time since my last update, and with me diving with both feet back into Blood Bowl in that time, the Mordheim projects just got figuratively and literally put on the shelf for a while. After receiving a couple of requests somewhat recently to finish the tutorial series, and realizing that making terrain is actually my favorite part of the hobby that I have neglected for quite a while now, I decided that it was finally time to finish this terrain piece, and the tutorial.
First, to get anyone caught up who has not read the previous posts:
